Guatemalan Gold is a US-based, minority-owned company. Our President and CEO, was born and raised near Antigua, Guatemala; she comes from a long and proud tradition of coffee growers and producers, spanning more than four generations.
Our Senior Vice President and Co-founder, is a U.S. military veteran and successful entrepreneur who, like many coffee drinkers, is dissatisfied with the rising cost of average coffee most of which include "fillers" like rye, barley, corn, twigs and even dirt! Disturbed about learning what goes into most coffees, our founders purchased their coffee exclusively from small coffee producers in the tropics of Guatemala.
Although initially intended for personal use, demand grew as this coffee was shared , and an increasing number of friends, family, co-workers, and even a few restaurants, wanted to know where they could purchase this premium coffee - Guatemalan Gold was born.

Grown at an altitude of over 5,000 feet, our superior quality and unique flavor comes from the rich minerals and nutrients deposited in the soil from the volcanic regions where the coffee is grown. This creates a robust flavor, infused with subtle notes of chocolate, toffee, and nuts.
